About the Job
Roma Fence is looking for an Outside Sales Representative to sell fences to residential and commercial customers.

Compensation: Base salary to be negotiated + Commission.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Sales of residential, commercial, and institutional fence solutions.
  • Leads are provided.
  • Prospecting for new projects/opportunities by networking, research, and consultation while looking after leads given.
  • Expand customer base; cold call potential clients to generate potential business opportunities.
  • Returning calls for leads within a 24 - 48-hour period.
  • Following up on quotations given out.
  • Quantity take-offs and material lists along with associated quotes for fence projects.
  • Maintain a high level of communication with all internal and external channels.
  • Working with the installation team to assess and address change orders for changes on-site.
  • Promote product lines.
  • Other sales-related duties, including but not limited to site visits and site walks.
  • Turn in contracts with necessary contract documents.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be able to read plans and complete quantity take-offs for tenders.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years experience in outside sales.
  • Ability to read plans, landscape drawings, specifications, etc.
  • The fencing/construction industry is an asset.
  • Excellent relationship-building ability.
  • Excellent communication skills (strong phone etiquette and face-to-face service).
  • Flexible: some evenings and weekends as desired.
  • Motivated, collaborative, results-oriented, competitive, and customer-focused.
  • Must be team-focused and work closely with managers and other internal departments.
  • Must have own transportation.
  • Must hold and maintain a current and valid G Ontario Driver’s License.

Compensation: Base salary to be negotiated + Commission.

Residential Sales Territory: Brampton, Concord, Downsview, Milton, Maple, North York, Toronto.

Commercial Sales Territory: Per projects and leads assigned, tenders, etc.
